In April 2013, the 80000 ton die forging press independently designed, manufactured and installed by the State Machinery Group entered the trial production stage, marking that China has officially become a country with the highest level of die forging equipment in the world. High end large die forgings required for aviation, aerospace, ocean, nuclear power, high-speed rail, etc. can be independently manufactured.

At present, most of die forging presses often need to be repeatedly heated in the manufacturing process of large die forgings due to insufficient strength. The 80000 ton die forging press has strong power, which can be completed by one forging and can also ensure the integrity of the external dimensions of the product and inherent performance stability.

In the manufacturing of aviation die forgings for C919 aircraft in China, the R&D team of Sinoma Group drew thousands of drawings and carried out hundreds of simulation, prefabrication and process iteration optimization in more than 2500 days and nights. Several products have been trial produced successively. Finally, the key die forgings for the main landing gear of C919 aircraft were successfully forged, and breakthroughs were made in the manufacturing of high-end die forgings for large aircraft in China.
